divine inner light collective is a constellation of mindfulness- and arts- based offerings for integrative mental health & wellbeing organized by zahra "river" chevannes, MSW, LCSW.

 

river is a black and indigenous artist and healing justice practioner*. as a trained social worker, they work with individuals, family systems, communities and social systems. their work is trauma-responsive and focuses on supporting people affected by intersecting systems of oppression.

 

they are committed to compassion practice, decolonizing mental health, and the interdependence of individual and collective healing and wellbeing. river is the daughter of immigrants from the caribbean. they practice meditation, yin & restorative yoga, and love being in water and among the trees.
